Job summary

Coastal Freight and Transportation, located near Perryville, MD, is seeking a CDL-A dedicated local driver. You’ll have home daily schedules and operate within a 250-mile radius of Perryville, MD, with steady, palletized freight.

You will drive 48' or 53' trailers, with pre-loaded freight, and complete usually 2 stops per trailer across MD, PA and NJ. Automatic day cabs and a strong benefits package complete the opportunity.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with a solid work history.
• Clean MVR required.
• Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated deliveries to all stores with docks.
• Trailers are pre-loaded.
• Service area is 250 miles from DC.
• Deliver freight with a 48' or 53' trailer.
• All freight is palletized.
• Drivers operate within MD, PA and NJ.
• Multi-stop loads, usually 2 stops per trailer.
• Backhaul may be required.
• Account uses reefers and dry vans.

• Home Daily- 5 Days on 2 Days off
• AverageWeekly Pay -$1,775 to $2,300
• Average Yearly Gross - $93,000 to $120,000

POSITION DETAILS:

• Dedicated deliveries to all stores have docks
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 250miles from DC

• Drivers will operate within MD, PA and NJ
• Dedicated steady freight.
• Account utilizes both reefers and dry vans
• Multi-stop loads, usually 2 stops per trailer
• Drivers will pick up a backhaul on occasion
• Automaticday cabs that cannot be taken home for time off.
