Job summary

Penske Logistics’ EPES Transport, LLC. division is seeking Full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for home-daily regional runs. Drivers will operate late-model Penske trucks on east-coast routes, averaging 4,600–4,800 miles weekly with 6–8 stops, mostly no-touch freight and occasional driver assist.

The schedule starts Tuesday through Saturday with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement, paid vacation from day one, and a driver referral bonus program up to $2,000 per referral.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company rules.
• Regular, predictable full attendance is essential.
• Role requires English language proficiency.
• Background check and drug screening required.

This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• $0.91 per mile plus stop pay, $2050 to $2200 average weekly pay per driver
• Regional Driver Team Position
• Some Driver Assist May Be Required, Mostly No Touch Freight

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• This is a driver team position starting in Sewell NJ and traveling the east coast to Miami FL to return back delivering flowers.
• Average 4600 to 4800 miles per week.
• Average 6 to 8 stops per week.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• Base Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
