Job summary

Penske is hiring full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers for routes with regular home time and consistent, no-touch freight. You will operate late-model Penske trucks on Dry Van freight, with in-cab safety features and a focus on reliable on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required for the role.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years (or 2 years in 5 years).
• DMV/MVR must show two or fewer moving violations/accidents.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dry Van freight with drop & hook as applicable.
• Report to schedule: home weekly, most weekends.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations during operation.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• $0.65 per mile, $1300 to $1600 per week average pay
• Additional utilization bonus based on miles driven
• All no touch freight, mostly drop & hook

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske-maintained trucks

• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to help ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Dry Van Loads comprised of Freight of All Kinds (FAK), with a mixture of live load/unload and drop & hook freight

Schedule:

• Home weekly, most weekends

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
