Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking a CDL-A Local Truck Driver to operate out of the Pueblo Distribution Center. You will perform 2 local turns per day with no-touch freight, returning home each night on a Monday–Sunday rolling schedule.

Trainees with CDL-A are welcome; experience options include 0 months or 6+ months OTR in the last year. The role emphasizes flexible shifts (day/night), weekly home time, and staying within a 40-mile radius of Pueblo, CO.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and up-to-date Medical Card.
• Residence within 40 miles of Pueblo, CO 81001.
• Experience: Trainees with 0 months welcome or Experienced 6+ months OTR in last year (12 months in last 5 years). Local Class A experience also considered.
• Clean driving record with no major preventable accidents in 5 years; pass urine/hair drug screen.
• Not SAP friendly.

Responsibilities

• Local shuttle/drop-and-hook or simple unloads; no heavy lifting or boxes.
• 5 working days per week on a Monday–Sunday rolling schedule; weekend dispatch included.
• Home Daily: sleep in your own bed every night; dispatch completed before end of day.
• Average ~2 turns per day out of Pueblo DC; intra-Colorado routes.
• Flexible shifts day and night depending on terminal needs.

CDL-A Local Truck Driver

We've got an immediate opening for a dedicated local shuttle seat running straight out of the Pueblo Distribution Center. No endless weeks away from your family and no stressing over unpredictable miles. You just show up, knock out your daily turns, cash your daily rate, and head home.

Highlights of the position:

Weekly Take-Home Target: Pull in a dependable $1,300 gross average every single week.

Labor Profile: 100% No-Touch Freight- this is strictly local drop-and-hook or simple shuttle unloads. You won't be throwing boxes or breaking your back.

Home Time & Schedule:

Home Daily: 100% Home Daily. You complete your dispatch and sleep in your own bed every single night.

Shift Structure: Open operational windows mean you'll need the flexibility to run both day and night turns depending on what the terminal needs.

Weekly Cadence: You'll work a minimum of 5 days per week across a Monday through Sunday rolling schedule, so weekend dispatch is part of the gig.

The Lane Loop: This is intra-Colorado shuttle transport, averaging about 2 turns per day right out of the Pueblo DC.

The Elements: You just need to be comfortable with changing local routes, seasonal winter mountain driving, and working through standard calendar holidays to keep the customer's pipeline moving.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license and up-to-date Medical Card.

Hiring Boundary: You do need to live within 40 miles of Pueblo, CO (Zip Code: 81001).

Experience Tiers: Trainees with 0 months experience are fully welcome (must have a valid CDL-A) OR Experienced tier requires 6+ months OTR within the last year (or 12 months in the past 5 years). Local Class A experience is fully considered.

Clean Records: Must pass a mandatory urine and hair drug screen. Clean driving record with no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years and a maximum of 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months.
