Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC seeks a Local CDL-A Shuttle Driver based out of Pueblo Distribution Center to run intra-Colorado routes with 100% no-touch freight and home daily. Expect 2 turns per day and round-the-clock coverage to meet terminal needs.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL, a DOT Medical Card, and pass drug screening. Year-round work with some weekend coverage and winter mountain driving is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.
• 0–6 months of OTR within the last year or 12 months in 5 years for Experienced tier.
• No more than 4 driving jobs in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate local shuttle routes from Pueblo DC with 100% no-touch freight.
• Complete 2 turns per day on intra-Colorado routes.
• Follow schedule to ensure daily home time and seasonal winter driving readiness.

Local CDL-A Shuttle Driver — Home Every Day

If you want to get off the road and sleep in your own bed every night, we have a local shuttle run open out of the Pueblo Distribution Center. You'll handle local turns, get home daily, and earn a steady paycheck without having to deal with unpredictable over-the-road miles or living out of a truck.

What You’ll Make

Daily Base Pay: Earn a guaranteed $200.00 per day (for drivers with 0 to 2 years of experience).

Weekly Average: Pull in a dependable $1,300 gross average every single week.

The Route & The Work

No-Touch Freight: 100% no-touch. This is strictly local drop-and-hook or simple shuttle unloads. You won't be throwing boxes or breaking your back.

The Loop: You'll run intra-Colorado shuttle segments, averaging about 2 turns per day right out of the Pueblo DC.

The Realities: This is Colorado, so you need to be comfortable handling seasonal winter mountain driving, varying local routes, and working through standard holidays to keep the customer's pipeline moving.

Your Schedule & Home Time

Home Daily: 100% Home Daily. Finish your shift and sleep in your own bed every single night.

The Hours: We run a round-the-clock operation, so you need the flexibility to run both day and night turns depending on what the terminal needs.

Weekly Cadence: You'll work a minimum of 5 days a week across a rolling Monday through Sunday schedule, which means weekend dispatch is part of the gig.

Who We Can Hire

• Hiring Radius: You must live within 40 miles of the Pueblo terminal (Zip Code: 81001).

Experience Tiers

• Trainees: Completely welcome! If you have 0 months of experience but hold a valid CDL-A, you can apply.
• Experienced: Requires at least 6 months of OTR within the last year, or 12 months in the past 5 years. Local Class A tractor-trailer experience counts directly toward this.
• Credentials: Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card. No special endorsements needed.
• Background & Safety: Maximum of 4 driving jobs in the past year, zero major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, and you must pass a mandatory hair and urine drug screen.
• Not SAP Friendly.
