Job summary

Averitt is seeking a full-time CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Texas. You will enjoy consistent miles, stable pay, and clear routes with defined shipments, minimizing surprise freight.

Expect about 2,800 miles per week, 61 cpm starting at 27 per stop, home Fridays and back Mondays, plus paid time off, health/dental/vision, and opportunities for local, regional, and leadership roles within Averitt.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL and valid commercial driver's license.
• Minimum verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• No reckless driving convictions in past 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport portable storage units to storage centers or hub facilities.
• Secure and strap down containers and storage units.
• Unload/reload portable storage at destination sites.
• Deliver across the 48 contiguous states; some states may not be served.
