Job summary

Averitt Express is seeking a full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to provide reliable service with consistent miles and defined routes. You’ll know customers, typical shipments, and home time, with weekend resets and regular days off based on freight availability.

Drivers enjoy competitive weekly pay, per-diem options, and opportunities for growth within Averitt, including leadership roles. Home Fridays, out Mondays, and take 34-hour resets as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Must live within a 100-mile radius.
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years.
• No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years.
• No suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the past 5 years.
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, etc.).
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport portable storage units to storage centers or hub facilities.
• Secure and strap down containers and storage units.
• Destination site personnel unload and reload portable storage.
• Pickup and deliver across the 48 contiguous states (no NYC deliveries).
• Must travel through and may not deliver in all states.
