Job summary

Averitt Express is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for dedicated routes across the continental United States, with extended home time and predictable miles. You will secure loads, strap down containers, and deliver portable storage units to hubs and centers.

Drivers are expected to stay within a 100-mile radius initially, while travel and overnight assignments may occur. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and a driver-friendly culture that emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Age 21 or older.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years.
• No severe driving violations within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport portable storage units to storage centers or hub facilities.
• Secure and strap down containers and storage units.
• Destination site personnel unload & reload portable storage.
• Pickup and deliver across the 48 contiguous states (excluding NYC) as needed.
