Job summary

AWI Management Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 40-unit apartment community in Kalispell, MT. You will perform general maintenance tasks, respond to work orders, and help keep residents' housing safe and welcoming.

Ideal candidates have experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping; familiarity with affordable housing programs (HUD/LIHTC/RD) is a plus. Reliable transportation and US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.
• Following company policies and procedures.
