CANPACK Group is seeking a Decorator Technician for our Back End department in Olyphant, PA. The role runs on a 2-2-3 shift from 7pm to 7am, with travel minimal and a focus on maintaining decorator equipment at peak efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of mechanic experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to safety and quality. The job requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team and to follow maintenance plans.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical maintenance/repair experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years as a mechanic in manufacturing.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist decorator equipment operation with quality standards.
  • Perform daily maintenance and audits of machines/housekeeping.
  • Perform and report technician-level repairs.
  • Troubleshoot faulty equipment; assist with repair of parts.
  • Conduct routine quality checks.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Summary

C crew 7pm-7am

Ensure decorator machine is operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
  • Assist with operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan.
  • Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs).
  • Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Decorator Specialist with repair of defective parts.
  • Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
  • Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar).
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
  • Self-motivated with high attention to detail required.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
