Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Junior Declassification Review Analyst to support government clients at Andrews AFB. You’ll perform initial reviews, analyze documents, and advise on declassification actions as part of a collaborative team.

Training in declassification certification will be provided at a Springfield, VA site. Role requires a TS clearance, ability to handle physical boxes, and strong analytic, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent Military experience
• Effective communicator—oral and written
• Strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team
• Active Top Secret US Government Clearance required (US Citizenship needed)
• Ability to learn new systems and applications

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial declassification reviews in support of Government agency
• Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine appropriate actions per EO 13526
• Understand document markings including classification markings
• Recommend release, referral, and exemptions from automatic declassification
• Recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information
• Handle and maintain integrity of boxes and documents (15–25 lbs)
