Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC seeks a Declassification Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program at Naval Reactors Headquarters. You will review NNPP records for proper declassification in accordance with EO 13526 and related guidance.

The ideal candidate has experience with Naval Reactors information, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex workflows, coordinating with multiple agencies and maintaining strict compliance across SOPs and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of declassification, records management, or administrative program support experience.
  • Active clearances (Top Secret or DOE Q) or ability to maintain them.
  • Experience working with federal agencies and government relations.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, and PDF tools.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day declassification and document review tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct FOIA, MDR, litigation, referral, and records reviews.
  • Identify, mark, and refer documents to other agencies as required.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and guidance.
  • Manage administrative support and program metrics, updating SOPs and training materials.
