Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on Torpedo Tube and Weapons Shipping and Handling Assembly.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial shipbuilding environment.
• 5+ years of 2nd level management experience in shipbuilding / ship maintenance industries.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide deck plate supervision coaching to improve productivity and schedule adherence.
• Lead workers to ownership of output and outcomes.
• Ensure backup tasks are defined and ready if primary tasks fall behind.
• Coach on problem resolution with paperwork, tooling, and materials.
• Spend at least 4 hours a day on deckplate.
• Attend meetings with Supervisor and coach on preparation and response.
• Ensure handoffs to successors are planned without delay.
• Start 2nd shift work without delay and communicate progress
