Qualifications

• Must pass 3-day deckhand orientation class.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC.
• Must maintain a valid/current Driver’s license.
• Must be able to work various hours/holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Secure barges together (laying rigging).
• Assist with navigation and vessel maintenance.
• Keep maintenance logs, grocery orders, safety drills.

Skills

Willingness to be trained

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to work in difficult conditions

General boat cleaning

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
