Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises in Tampa, FL is seeking a dependable Deckhand to support vessel operations and guest safety aboard our dining cruise vessels. This entry‑level, safety‑sensitive role offers hands‑on maritime experience in a dynamic hospitality setting.

You will assist with docking, line handling, cleaning, and routine maintenance, while delivering friendly service to guests and participating in safety drills.

Competenze

• Must be 18+ with a valid state-issued ID.
• Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and assist guests in emergencies.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random USCG drug and alcohol testing.

Mansioni

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and vessel operations.
• Ensure guest safety during boarding, cruising, and disembarking.
• Maintain vessel cleanliness including decks, restrooms, seating areas, and exterior spaces.
• Assist with fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal.
• Participate in required safety drills and emergency response procedures.
• Deliver friendly, professional guest interactions while maintaining safety standards.
• Assist with routine vessel maintenance including washing, detailing, painting, and upkeep.
• Support event and cruise operations as needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
