Archer Western/Traylor Bros Joint Venture is currently seeking a Deckhand for the TSEFL/Howard Frankland Bridge Replacement, in Tampa, FL.

The primary function of a Deckhand is to assist with operation and maintenance of barges on the site of construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making tow, transferring, and laying rigging
• Conducting occasional barge inspections and general housekeeping duties
• Assisting construction crews with structures in and around the water
• Performing other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
