Qualifications

  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Secure and release crane rigs to and from barges and vessels using lines and cables.
  • Inspect cables and rigging components on the crane deck for safety and functionality.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Provide clear directional signals to crane operators during operations.
  • Lubricate crane buckets to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist in drafting barges and managing barge covers.
  • Handle general rigging and repositioning of barges.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards on decks, barges, and ship holds.
  • Refuel equipment and cranes as necessary.
  • Support general upkeep and maintenance of the crane rig.
  • Report all incidents promptly according to company protocols.
  • Actively participate in and support company safety initiatives.
