Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Deck Supervisor to oversee daily pool deck operations, ensure safety, and deliver the Goldfish experience for families. You will lead instructors, monitor swimmer progress, and collaborate with the Pool Operations Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pool environment throughout each shift.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and accountability, with a focus on safety, customer experience, and teamwork on the pool deck.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a swim instructor preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred or required according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant awareness of all activities on the pool deck and supervise swimmers.
• Enforce all safety procedures and policies; address unsafe behavior immediately.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to instructors; ensure classes start on time and staff are in position.
• Monitor swimmer progress, document progress, and provide feedback to management and instructors.
• Support pool operations by monitoring chemistry, equipment, and overall pool environment.
