Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced Submarine ILS Supply Technician in Newport News, VA. This hands-on role requires active involvement in warehouse and shipyard environments to ensure parts and equipment reach the right place at the right time.

You will provide deck plate support on site, serving as the go-to person for logistics in submarine construction, coordinating with Navy personnel and various stakeholders to manage replenishment, replacement, and returns.

Qualifications

• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in supervisory/warehouse lead roles at a DoD facility; logistics support for electronic/electrical repair and installation, and material distribution.

Responsibilities

• Material Management: manage inventories, shipping/receiving, and property control using digital and manual systems.
• Warehouse Operations: store, stack, palletize, and operate hand/power trucks for heavy government electronic equipment.
