Job summary

Edison Chouest Offshore is searching for a qualified Deck Officer Instructor to be a part of the ECO Training Center team. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience, including roles as Master, Chief Mate, First Class Pilot, or similar capacities on larger vessels.

The instructor will conduct both classroom lectures and practical training sessions, covering various essential skills. This is a full-time role with a 5/2 workday schedule, with potential for occasional weekends and travel.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience in a relevant role.
• Experience as a Master, Chief Mate, First Class Pilot, or OICNW on vessels of at least 1,600 GRT.
• Military experience as Commanding Officer or Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions.
• Perform practicals including pool and fire field training.
