Job summary

Klover Contracting Inc. in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Structural Ironworker – Deck & Joists to install a variety of flooring systems and structural elements. You should read blueprints, follow work orders, and be comfortable with welding as a plus.

The role requires physical work, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work at heights across the Tri-State area within a 70 mile radius of Quakertown. Prior experience with joists, decking, and compressors is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in floor joist, metal deck, or structural steel installation.
• Experience with stick welding and safety PPE.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Ability to work at heights and in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and read height, width, length, and other proportions with a tape measure.
• Assist foreman with proper layout for work to be put in place.
• Fabricate or alter parts using grinders, sawzalls, shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Join materials with PAFs, nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Install flooring systems according to specifications and building codes.
• Perform welds using stick processes for joists or deck (optional).
• Work at heights with elevated platforms.
• Maintain welding certification through logs and supervisor observation.
