Job summary

KLOVER is seeking an experienced Structural Ironworker – Deck & Joists to install structural flooring systems, metal decking, and related components. You will read blueprints, perform accurate layouts, weld where needed, and ensure work meets specifications and codes.

The role involves heights, rigging, and driving safe practices on job sites across the Tri-State area. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, some joist/steel experience, and knowledge of PPE.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; secondary/trade coursework preferred.
• Experience with floor joist, metal deck, or structural steel desired.
• Basic carpentry knowledge and PPE understanding.

Responsibilities

• Read and measure heights, widths, and lengths accurately.
• Assist foreman with layout and proper installation.
• Fabricate/alter parts with grinders, saws, and drills.
• Join materials using PAFs, nails, screws, or adhesives.
• Set up and use rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Install flooring systems per specs and codes.
