Qualified candidates will have 5+ years aboard similar vessels, including 3+ years in supervisory roles, and strong organizational and communication skills. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years aboard a similar vessel, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Organized to efficiently maintain inventories on crane barge and support barges.
  • Able to communicate well as part of a small team and work cooperatively with colleagues.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical plans; write reports, letters, spreadsheets, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise deck departments and coordinate daily operations.
  • Train and develop all crew members.
  • Coordinate and direct submerged pipeline evolutions.
  • Assist in planning dredge tows and submerged pipeline operations.
  • Execute work as planned and enforce work plans and procedures.
  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions to ensure goals are met.
  • Maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Manson’s ethics and safety standards.
  • Maintain quality per QC system and health, safety, environment requirements.
  • Write/participate in work plans and JSAs for safe execution.
  • Ensure personnel skills align to tasks.
