Job summary

ZS Associates invites doctoral students in engineering, mathematics or quantitative fields for a summer internship in Insights & Analytics in the United States. You will work on advanced statistical modeling, data-driven solution design, and client-facing analyses using R, Tableau, SAS and Excel.

You’ll communicate findings, build client relationships, and contribute to project success under mentorship. You will collaborate with teams to develop solutions, gain cross-functional skills, and grow

Qualifications

Must be a doctoral student in engineering, mathematics, or a heavily quantitative discipline with strong analytic coursework.
Second-to-last year of their doctorate with internship in the summer before final year.
High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and apply advanced statistical models to help clients understand dynamic business issues.
Leverage analytic techniques to guide client and ZS team decision-making.
Design analyses in R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic and Excel to investigate client needs.
Summarize and present results to clients and ZS teams orally and in writing.
Develop client relationships and serve as a point of contact on project aspects.
Provide project status updates to clients and ZS teams.
Create project deliverables and implement solutions.
Guide and mentor Associates on teams.
