Job summary

Lumensol is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Decarbonisation consulting team in the United States. You will lead delivery of decarbonisation programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring milestones, budgets and quality outcomes align with client objectives.

You will provide visible leadership, develop robust processes, and manage contracts and regulatory requirements while mentoring Operations Managers and frontline leads to strengthen capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and present insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team coordination.
• Ability to lead projects or workstreams and deliver on timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps and data analysis tools to produce MI and reports.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities, both independently and in teams.
• Ability to mentor Operations Managers and frontline leads when required.
• Demonstrated commitment to risk management and policy/process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of decarbonisation programmes, managing milestones, risks, and performance.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, optimise scheduling, resourcing, and productivity.
• Implement asset and decarbonisation strategies, embed SOPs and quality checks.
• Produce accurate management information and present insights to client leadership.
• Contribute to options appraisals, stock investment plans, and mobilisation strategies.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to build capability within the team.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure adherence to escalation protocols.
• Monitor budgets/spend and identify cost efficiencies to deliver savings.
