Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking an entry to mid level assembler focused on applying decals and supporting production. You will prepare vehicles, apply decals, and use various tools to ensure quality and efficiency across multiple vehicle types.

Team collaboration, reading work orders, and adherence to safety are essential as you contribute to lean initiatives and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Prior decals experience in automotive environment preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and decimals to 0.01 inches.
• Must be detail oriented, proficient, and a good team player.

• Obtain supplies and parts required to complete tasks.
• Assist teammates when decaling is not required.

• Adhere to quality, quantity, performance and safety standards.

FULL TIME | HOURLY | $22.00 - $25.OO DOE

What you’ll do:

Apply appropriate decals to specifications, inspect and repair as needed to support the production and assembly of various components, and perform as an active member of the team.

• Prepping vehicles for decal placement
• Applying decals to the inside and outside of painted Walk-in Van, specialty vehicles, truck bodies, etc.
• Skilled with hand, air, and power tools
• Obtain supplies and parts required to do the job
• Assist other employees when decaling is not required
• Clean department and maintain neatness in the surrounding work areas
• Assist the team in 5S advancements
• Assist in the implementation of Lean Principles
• Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards

What you need to be successful:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Must have prior recent experience applying decals (automotive)
• Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulations
• Ability to correctly use and read various gauges
• Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Ability to read a tape measure to a sixteenth (1/16) of an inch and decimal points to .01 inches
• Must be proficient, detail oriented, and very meticulous in your work
• Perform as a team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations
