Job summary

Biomerics is seeking a Deburr personnel to perform deburring, sanding, and polishing parts during the manufacturing process. You will use small hand tools and read shop travelers to ensure quality and precision.

Responsibilities include using precision measurement tools, comparing times, and following standardized work procedures under supervisor guidance. Hours are Tue–Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm and Sat 7:00am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
  • Understands processes used in removing scratches, excess weld material, and burs.
  • High degree of manual dexterity while using a microscope.
  • The use of a microscope is required for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Sitting for a long period up to 8 hours per day.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees of the organization.
  • Ability to understand how their actions may affect other portions of the business.
