Job summary

Accounting Search is assisting a manufacturing client in finding an experienced Deburrer to remove sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections from components. You will follow manufacturing instructions while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of deburring experience, proficiency with calipers, ERP knowledge (Epicor 10), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. English communication is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of deburring experience or demonstrated ability.
• Ability to use calipers and other manual inspection tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, including Epicor 10.
• Strong English communication; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain deburring machines and grinding tools.
• Deburr components to remove sharp edges and excess material.
• Perform light grinding of welds and surface imperfections.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Follow travelers, work orders, and specifications to complete operations in the correct sequence.
• Monitor machine operation, identify problems, and make necessary adjustments.
• Mount and position tools, fixtures, and accessories in machines.
• Communicate production needs and issues with coworkers across shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Flexibility and attention to detail in a changing manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform repetitive movements.
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers.
• Ability to recognize audible alerts and respond to hazardous situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and by telephone.
