Job summary

Ascentec Engineering is seeking deburr technicians to join our team at the Tualatin headquarters. We value quality, innovation, and integrity and are open to entry-level candidates as well as seasoned technicians.

Shifts include Day Shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and Swing Shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.). This on-site role does not offer visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship.

Qualifications

• No experience required, but having these desired skills is a plus: preference for candidates with experience working with precision machined parts and deburr, sanding, etc.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools: DA Sander, Drills, Dremel, Torque Drivers, etc.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications, prints & drawings.
• Preference for candidates with prior fabrication or machine shop experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

We are seeking deburr technicians to join our team. Do you have excellent attention to detail skills? Can you use hand tools effectively? We will train entry-level candidates and are looking for seasoned deburr technicians too.

Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. -- swing shift offers an industry-leading hourly shift differential

This position is on-site (not hybrid/not remote) at our Tualatin headquarters and does not offer Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

No experience required, but having these desired skills is a plus:

• Preference for candidates that have worked with precision machined parts. Cleaning, deburr, sanding, lapping, etc.
• Automotive experience
• Should be proficient at using both power and hand tools: DA Sander, Drills, Dremel, Torque Drivers, etc.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for an extended period of time
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications, prints & drawings
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior fabrication experience (manufacturing, construction, etc.)
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior machine shop experience
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation / Benefits:

• $17 to $22 per hour DOEand shift selected
