Ascentec Engineering is seeking experienced machinists for our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters. You will set up and operate CNC mills with various controls to produce precision parts in a fast-paced, high-speed shop. The role requires reading prints, measuring parts, and maintaining tight tolerances.
Experience with 3-axis mills is essential; 4- and 5-axis experience is a plus. On-site work with shift differentials is available, and ITAR/compliance considerations apply. Equal opportunity employer.
Ascentec Engineering is hiring experienced Machinists at our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters. Qualified candidates must possess the necessary skills to successfully function in a quick-turn, high-speed machine shop. This position presents a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and an attention to detail with many avenues for career growth. Set up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools and controls to produce precision parts.
There are four shifts available:
Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.;
Weekend Day Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.;
and Weekend Night Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
All shifts are full-time, and the off shifts are eligible for an industry-leading shift differential.
This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
