Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the Debur Technician role as part of a team.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Take direction from supervision and follow it.
• Become proficient with part recognition and job processes.
• Utilize a microscope for inspection and process steps.
• Buff, deburr, and wash nonmetal parts as needed.
• Cross-train on various processes.
• Perform visual inspections and document results.
• Verify dimensions with calipers or micrometers to specs.
• Conduct quality control inspections on finished parts.
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment.

Job Summary

Our Debur Technician role is an entry role into manufacturing with Burger & Brown Engineering, Inc. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to continuously grasp and manipulate small nonmetal parts.

Job Duties

• Be capable of performing all aspects of the Debur Technician, working with other employees as part of a team, and be prompt and on time daily for work.
• Work safely and adhere to Burger & Brown's safety policies.
• Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.
• Have the ability and desire to become efficient with part recognition and learn all aspects of job as required.
• Ability to utilize a microscope for work process and parts inspections.
• Capability to buff, deburr, and wash nonmetal part as needed.
• Ability to cross train on various processes.
• Ability to perform visual inspections.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers.
• Use measuring devices to ensure material specifications.
• Performs quality control inspections on finished products.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments.
• Maintains equipment and ensures work area is always clean and safe.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications
