Job summary

Verus Aerospace in Wichita, KS seeks a finishing operator to perform machine and hand finishing to smooth rough components into finished products. You will blend lines with sanding tools and must maintain accuracy while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, basic shop math, and the ability to read and write English. Standing for up to 10 hours and following procedures are essential to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
• Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
• Operator will be responsible for the blending of lines using multiples sanding tools to meet engineering requirements.
• Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity.
• Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques.
• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Education and Experience:
