Job summary

VERUS AEROSPACE FINANCE INC is seeking a Deburr Operator I for the 2nd shift in Wichita, KS. You will perform machine and hand finishing to smooth and blend components, following blueprints and specifications to meet engineering requirements.

Responsibilities include following policies, lifting and moving parts safely, and maintaining attention to detail and hand dexterity in a standing position for extended periods. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with basic computer tools and systems.
• Proficiency in basic shop math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Blend parts using multiple sanding tools to meet engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and specifications.
• Follow department policies and procedures; maintain safety protocols.
• Maintain punctuality and work closely with supervisors and co‑workers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Position Summary

Performs machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products according. Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
• Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
• Operator will be responsible for the blending of lines using multiples sanding tools to meet engineering requirements.
• Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity.
• Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques.
• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Education and Experience:
