Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Hand Finisher / Deburr to support defense and aerospace manufacturing. You will deburr and hand-finish parts per sketches and blueprints, reading basic notes, and following supervisor instructions to maintain quality.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 35 lbs, stand or sit at a workstation, and work 40+ hours weekly in a fast-paced environment. The role requires U.S.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• DEBURR/HANDFINISH PARTS PER SKETCH/BLUE PRINT INSTRUCTIONS AND OR DEPARTMENT/LEAD/SUPERVISOR INSTRUCTIONS READ AND UNDERSTAND BASIC BLUE PRINT NOTES AND DEBURR SKETCHES
• COMMUNICATE AND FOLLOW VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS

Other Experience That Includes

• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE USING A MICRO BLASTER IS A PLUS
• THE USE OF MICROSCOPES
• HAND HELD AIR AND ELECTRIC DEBURRING TOOLS
• KNOWLEDGE AND USE OF DEBURRING ABRASIVES,AND BURRS FOR SEPCIFIC MATERIALS

Preferred Skills

• MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE
• CLEANING OF PARTS AS NECCESARY

Physical Requirements

• ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 35 LBS
• ABILITY TO SIT AT WORK STATION FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME
• Must be willing to comply with personal protective equipment requirements (eye and hearing protection, etc)
