IMS People in Carrollton, TX is seeking a De-Bug Test Technician for a contract-to-hire role on 2nd shift. You will diagnose, repair, and validate electronic and mechanical hardware to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include PCBAs rework, using oscilloscopes and multimeters, recording results, and collaborating with engineering to improve reliability and manufacturability. Training and growth opportunities available.

Formación

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical hardware and software issues.
• Use schematics, BOMs and test procedures to guide repairs.
• Set up and operate diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Conduct functional testing and validation to ensure product performance and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical hardware and software issues using schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
• Perform component-level repair and rework on PCBAs, including replacing SMT components and integrated circuits
• Set up, operate, and interpret results from diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test tools
• Conduct functional testing and validation to ensure products meet performance and quality standards
• Identify root causes of failures and implement effective corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, test results, and failure analysis data
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product design, reliability, and manufacturing processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring defects and process issues
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and company procedures throughout the repair and testing process
• Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams including engineering and production

Hourly Range: $18.00/hrto $21.00/hr (Depending on experience)
