Job summary

Anonymous is seeking an Analyst to support the Debt Portfolio Management team, focusing on underwriting and portfolio oversight of a large, diversified CRE loan portfolio across multifamily, retail, office, and industrial assets.

You will monitor loan performance, coordinate with servicers, and assist in investor reporting while developing financial models in Excel and ARGUS to optimize capital deployment and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate, lending, structured finance, or a related field.
• Exposure to CMBS, CLOs, or balance sheet lending is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loan performance, including covenants, funding activity, borrower requests, and cash management processes.
• Track tax and insurance escrows, property-level business plans, and coordinate with third-party servicers.
• Support risk assessments of new investments, including review of cash flows, collateral valuations, market data, sponsorship, insurance coverage, and compliance metrics.
• Assist with investor reporting.
• Prepare materials for internal investment committees related to existing loans, including approvals, funding requests, and watchlist assets.
• Review third-party reports such as appraisals, property condition reports, environmental studies, and insurance documentation.
• Develop and maintain financial models using Excel and ARGUS.
• Support efforts to improve processes through technology and automation initiatives.
