Lawson is seeking a motivated Debt and Equity Analyst to support financing and investment activities for affordable housing. You will perform financial modeling, investment analysis, due diligence, and transaction support across a portfolio of developments.

The role emphasizes Excel proficiency, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within Lawson’s 50+ year legacy in Virginia multifamily real estate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Real Estate.
• 0–3 years of finance or real estate experience.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas and large datasets.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Capital Markets Analysis.
• Capital Due Diligence Execution and Coordination.
• POC for Project Specific Capital Partners.
• Feasibility Analysis of Negotiated Financial Terms.
• Analysis, Underwriting, Model Creation, and QC.
• Capital Stack Analysis and Recommendations.
