Job summary

Alpha Generation seeks a Debt Compliance Analyst to monitor debt covenants and credit facility requirements, preparing certificates and reports for lenders and internal stakeholders. You will analyze financial data, manage the compliance calendar, and document requirements across loan agreements and indentures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Law, or a closely related field.
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, finance, treasury, public accounting, or as a corporate paralegal with debt, credit, or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of debt instruments, credit agreements, financial covenants, and capital structure concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track compliance with debt covenants, loan agreements, and credit facility requirements on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare, review, and distribute covenant compliance certificates and reports to lenders and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to assess covenant headroom across debt instruments.
• Maintain debt compliance calendar and documentation repositories.
• Review loan agreements, indentures, and related instruments to document requirements.
• Support due diligence and documentation for debt issuances, refinancings, amendments, and waivers.
• Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis for debt capacity and capital structure.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and advisors on debt compliance matters.
• Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and internal controls.
• Prepare regulatory filings and disclosures related to debt instruments.
• Support MD&A reporting for annual financials.
• Coordinate with FP&A for quarterly Capital Allocation Memo.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly reporting for minority investors.
