Job summary

Alpha Generation seeks a Debt Compliance Analyst to monitor covenant compliance across debt instruments and report to lenders and stakeholders. You will collaborate with Legal, Accounting, and Treasury while supporting due diligence for debt issuances and waivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Law, or a closely related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, finance, treasury, public accounting, or as a corporate paralegal with debt, credit, or finance experience.
• Strong foundational understanding of debt instruments, credit agreements, financial covenants, and capital structure concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track compliance with debt covenants, loan agreements, and credit facility requirements.
• Prepare, review, and distribute covenant compliance certificates and reports to lenders and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to assess covenant headroom and identify potential risks.
• Maintain debt compliance calendar, deadlines, and documentation repositories.
• Interpret loan agreements and related instruments to document compliance requirements.
• Support due diligence for new debt issuances, refinancings, amendments, and waivers.
• Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis related to debt capacity.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and advisors on compliance matters.
• Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and reporting efficiency.
• Support regulatory filings and MD&A reporting related to debt instruments.
• Coordinate with FP&A to produce quarterly Capital Allocation Memo.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages for minority investors.
