Job summary

Kimbrell’s Furniture is hiring a full-time Credit Specialist in our Concord, NC Call Center. You will locate debtors, inquire about payment status, discuss options, and record outcomes with detailed notes in our system. You will process payments securely over the phone and maintain account accuracy while delivering courteous service.

We value teamwork, a positive attitude, and clear communication. Training is provided; collections experience is preferred but not required, with Mon–Fri 8am–8pm

Qualifications

• Cooperative disposition and ability to work in a team setting.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Some experience in collections preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.
• Must be available to work Mon - Fri between 8am and 8pm and alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Locating and contacting debtors to inquire about their payment status
• Minimize objections for payment and suggest available customer-friendly payment options
• Update account status and database regularly
• Use software to keep detailed notes regarding conversations with customers and outcomes
• Accepts payments over the phone via credit card
