The Dean supports the school's direction and vision aligned with the University's vision and mission. A collaborative leadership style and commitment to promoting academic excellence and a positive student and faculty experience are essential to the success of this strategic leader.
The Dean oversees student learning outcomes and success metrics and ensures all programmatic requirements are met for accredited programs within the school. The Dean makes recommendations supporting policy, people, process, and the resources needed to ensure the health of all programs in the portfolio. The Dean plays a crucial role in directing and leading initiatives to strengthen the programs' overall health and ensure a high- quality experience for students and faculty.
As the school's leader, the Dean has primary responsibility for setting professional expectations for students and has direct oversight of faculty and student concerns. The Dean ensures the program has the support necessary to foster student development and prepare adult learners to enter the workforce successfully. The Dean participates in the curriculum and academic policy approval process and works closely with the University Curriculum Committee and other leaders in Academic and Student Affairs and other Departments across the University.

The Dean reports to the AVP of the School. The Dean supervises Full-Time and Adjunct faculty aligned with the programs in their area of leadership.
