Job summary

Simmons University in Boston is seeking an Operations & Finance Specialist to support the Dean of the School of Nursing and Physical Therapy with calendar management, meeting coordination, travel, budgeting and financial processes.

You will handle communications, project coordination, data, and records, collaborating with university offices and external partners to advance School-wide initiatives in a fast-paced academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in executive/administrative/operations roles.
• Strong calendar management, meeting coordination, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Dean's complex calendars, meetings, travel, and priorities.
• Coordinate meetings with faculty, staff, students, leadership, and external partners; prepare minutes as needed.
• Support budget development and administration, purchasing, invoices, and expense tracking.
• Assist with onboarding for new faculty/staff and support accreditation and compliance data.
