Job summary

The Swedish Institute seeks an experienced Dean of Surgical Technology to lead and manage all aspects of its Surgical Technology Program. The Dean will provide strategic academic leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, and strengthen clinical partnerships to support student success and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires CST credential from NBSTSA.
• Minimum 5 years in surgical technology with at least 3 years teaching or admin experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead faculty recruitment, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
• Manage program operations including scheduling and resources.
• Develop partnerships with clinical sites to secure externships.
• Support student advising, progression, and CST exam readiness.
• Collaborate on strategic planning and institutional goals.
