Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or related field.
• Experience working with youth in residential and/or educational settings.
• Experience addressing emotional/behavioral needs of youth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to establish boundaries while building positive relationships.
• Calm and supportive under challenging situations.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed, restorative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic, trusting relationships with students.
• Maintain an approachable presence during the school day.
• Check in with students who are disengaged or struggling.
• Help students identify goals and strategies to overcome barriers.
• Plan activities, clubs, events, and enrichment opportunities.
• Create student leadership opportunities and meaningful involvement.
• Collaborate with staff to support students across education and residential programming.
• Facilitate restorative conversations after conflicts when appropriate.
