Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education Leadership required.
• Administrative license required.
• Training on equity, diversity and culturally responsive pedagogy preferred.
• Experience with Teacher Evaluations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with administration, teachers, students, and parents.
• General knowledge of restorative justice theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing policies pertaining to student behavior and attendance.
• Maintain discipline and participate in disciplinary hearings when applicable.
• Address bus behavior referrals and documentation.
• Assist teachers with behavior management plans and strategies.
• Evaluate Teaching Staff.
• Coordinate restorative practices approach to discipline and liaise with coordinators in other buildings.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding behavior and attendance.
• Supervise students during unstructured times and assist with events.
• Make recommendations for revisions to the student code of conduct.
• Record behavior events in the SIS and report to families as required.
