Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Dean of Students to lead programs enhancing elective courses, after-school preparation, and parent involvement networks, while ensuring safety and wellbeing of students and staff.

As a Dean, you will support the principal in implementing CSUSA policies, coordinating with leadership, and driving data-informed decisions to improve student outcomes and school performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years' successful teaching experience (may include Student Teaching Internship experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, the community, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensures teachers are organized, manage their time well and cover proper curriculum conforming to State and CSUSA mandates.
• Conducts 3-minute walk through and reports non-compliance to Principal.
• Ensures teachers follow curriculum maps to maximize high assessments test scores.
• Works with Principal, Assistant Principal and Lead Teachers to observe and evaluate instructional design and planning.
• Provides professional development/coaching on research-based instructional strategies.
