Sylvania is hiring a Dean of Students and Activities at Daisy Ingraham Elementary School. This role involves supervising students, overseeing attendance, wellness, and behavior, and collaborating with the Principal on leadership tasks.
The ideal candidate will hold a CT 092 Certification or be enrolled in the program, possessing experience in an elementary school environment. The position requires commitment during mornings, late afternoons, and some evenings to ensure supervision of events.
10 ½ month position: August 17, 2026 – June 17, 2027 (subject to school calendar and closures)
Salary for 2026-2027: $85,000 – $95,000
The Dean of Students and Activities is responsible for the supervision and oversight of students at Daisy Ingraham Elementary School in matters of attendance, wellness, safety, behavior, and social and emotional needs. The Dean also supports the Principal with leadership and supervision tasks.
CT 092 Certification in Intermediate Administration and Supervision PK‑12 or enrollment in a program leading to 092 certification. Experience working in an elementary school setting in the areas identified below.
Mornings, late afternoons, and some evenings are required components of this position and will be determined in collaboration with the Principal to ensure activities and student events are appropriately supervised.
