  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention programs that address the needs of at-risk students
  • Facilitate Positive Behavior Support (PBS) system and establish processes and procedures to support PBS and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Facilitate restorative justice practices including facilitation of restorative circles and conferences
  • Supervises students on campus before and after school; monitors students during lunch, recess, passing periods and other activities; instructs students in appropriate behavior
  • Process and implement progressive discipline
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Mentor and counsel at-risk students and students in need of additional staff support
  • Supervise student activities, buses, and cafeteria
  • Establish positive relationships with students and staff
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
  • EFFECTIVE DATE: 2025/2026 School Year

    LOCATION: This position will serve Gates Elementary School and Central Elemetary School with equal time at both locations.

    WORK YEAR: 205 days

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicant will:

    • Hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate and have 3-5 successful years of teaching

    SALARY: Salary commensurate with applicable experience and training
