Chaffey College seeks a Dean for STEM to lead the Academic & Career Community across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This role oversees planning, budgeting, and faculty development to support innovative, equity-minded STEM programming for a diverse student body and local community.

The successful candidate will drive data-informed decisions, advance curriculum with cross-department collaboration, and ensure high-quality instructional services aligned with district goals.

Formación

• Master's degree and leadership experience in a STEM or higher education setting.
• One year of formal leadership experience related to the administrator's assignment.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse backgrounds in a community college.

Responsabilidades

• Lead STEM Academic and Career Community programs including astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, math, and physics.
• Develop schedules of classes and faculty assignments for instructional programs.
• Direct and support faculty in program development within STEM.
• Provide data-driven analysis to inform strategic plans.
• Oversee unit budgets and financial resources; align with district policy.
• Collaborate with departments to plan curriculum additions and deletions.
