Danville Area Community College seeks a visionary Dean of STEAM to lead the division that blends STEM with agricultural and food sciences. You will guide faculty performance, shape curricula, manage budgets, and drive program assessment to ensure accreditation standards are met.

The role emphasizes collaboration with industry, governance, and community partners, plus expansion of course offerings and new programs.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in education administration or related field is required.
• Five years of full-time teaching in higher education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with instructional technology.
• Extensive background in higher education and community/technical college environments.

Mansioni

• Directs staff in establishing divisional goals and objectives while managing policies and plans.
• Oversees course scheduling, programmatic innovation and development, and faculty supervision to ensure SLOs.
• Directs and maintains a sound budget, provides budget needs to VPAA, approves purchases and travel.
• Recommends appointment, promotion, or release of faculty and staff; supports professional development.
• Leads accreditation initiatives for individual programs and ensures safety standards are followed.
• Fosters industry relationships and collaborates with four-year institutions for articulation.
